In this course, you will learn about the science of prevention and how it is used to create change within a community. You will also learn about evidence-based risk and protective factors and how they are used to prevent underage substance use. Through these videos, you will also understand why prevention matters and how prevention specialists implement prevention using the Strategic Prevention Framework. Special emphasis will be used to reflect GONA principles into native prevention efforts.
